Einen Tag sp\u00e4ter bekr\u00e4ftigte er die Behauptung, als er mehrere Dekrete zur F\u00f6rderung der US-Kohleindustrie unterzeichnete. Doch stimmt das?\u00a0Seit 2020 kein neues Kohlekraftwerk in Deutschland mehr gebautEine Sprecherin des Bundesministeriums f\u00fcr Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) stellte laut Medienberichten auf Nachfrage klar: \u201eNeue Kohlekraftwerke werden nicht errichtet. Hingegen wurden 2024 18 Kohlekraftwerke abgeschaltet.\u201c Zudem werde Deutschland bis sp\u00e4testens 2038 aus der Kohleverbrennung aussteigen \u2013 das hat der Bundestag 2020 im Rahmen des Kohleausstiegsgesetzes beschlossen.\u00a0Laut einer Kraftwerksliste der Bundesnetzagentur war das Steinkohlekraftwerk Datteln 4 das Kohlekraftwerk, das zuletzt in Deutschland gebaut wurde. Es ging 2020 in Betrieb. Auch die Angabe der Sprecherin des BMWK \u00fcber 18 abgeschaltete Kohlekraftwerke 2024 l\u00e4sst sich aus der Liste der Bundesnetzagentur verifizieren.\u00a0Auf Nachfrage schreibt uns die Bundesnetzagentur, mit Stand November 2024 gebe es in Deutschland noch 90 Generatoren mit dem Energietr\u00e4ger Kohle. Zu einem Kohlekraftwerk k\u00f6nnen mehrere Generatoren geh\u00f6ren. Laut Statista waren in Deutschland im Februar 2025 noch 43 Kohlekraftwerke aktiv.\u00a0Wind ist die wichtigste Energiequelle in DeutschlandAus einer Auswertung des Statistischen Bundesamtes geht zudem hervor, dass \u2013 anders als von Trump behauptet \u2013 die Windenergie in Deutschland 2024 brutto mit knapp 31,5 Prozent den meisten Strom erzeugte und ins Netz einspeiste.
