Derzeit gibt es in Syrien, Deutschland und \u00d6sterreich Demonstrationen f\u00fcr den Erhalt der Autonomie in der Region.\u00a0Allein auf Instagram wurde das Video mehr als 1,4 Millionen Mal angesehen \u2013 es kursiert auch auf Facebook, Threads und international, zeigt allerdings keine aktuellen Ereignisse.Video ist drei Jahre alt und entstand in Usbekistan\u00dcber einen Faktencheck der arabischen Faktencheck-Redaktion Misbar landen wir bei einer Aufnahme, die denselben Ort zeigt, und schon im Januar 2023 bei Youtube ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. Dass sie dasselbe Ereignis zeigt, erkennt man an der Position eines wei\u00dfen Busses neben einem Strommast und an den Autos im Vordergrund.\u00a0Links das verbreitete Video, rechts dieselbe Szene in einem Video aus Januar 2023 (Quellen: Instagram \/ Youtube \/ Nozimbek UZ; Screenshots, Schw\u00e4rzungen, Markierungen und Collage: CORRECTIV.Faktencheck)Der Titel des Youtube-Videos verweist auf Namangan, eine Region in Usbekistan. Im Hintergrund sind viele Pferde zu erkennen \u2013 das passt zu einem traditionellen Sportereignis in Usbekistan. Beim sogenannten Kupkari treten dutzende oder sogar hunderte Reiter gegeneinander an \u2013 dabei gewinnt, wem es gelingt, eine tote Ziege oder ein totes Schaf auf dem Spielfeld auf dem Pferd \u00fcber die Ziellinie zu bringen. Der Youtube-Kanal ver\u00f6ffentlicht h\u00e4ufiger Videos solcher Wettbewerbe.\u00a0Im Titel des alten Videos stehen au\u00dferdem die Worte \u201eDengiz Tulpori\u201c \u2013 eine Suche nach diesen Begriffen auf Youtube f\u00fchrt zu einem Video derselben Arena, in der im Februar 2024 ebenfalls Kupkari gespielt wurde. Auch bei Google Maps findet sich zum Begriff \u201eDengiz Tulpori\u201c ein Foto eines Kupkari-Wettbewerbs.\u00a0Das auf Instagram verbreitete Video zeigt also keine Kurdinnen und Kurden, die auf dem Weg in die autonome Region in Nordsyrien sind, sondern eine Pferdesportveranstaltung in Usbekistan. Wer es zuerst im falschen Kontext verbreitet hat, ist unklar.
